2024 Season Kicks Off 11-Month Journey with 33 Tournaments

This is the scale of the 2024 season of the U.S. Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour. The LPGA Tour office officially announced the schedule for next year on the 16th (local time). It will be held over 33 official tournaments during 11 months. The total prize money amounts to $116.55 million. Last year, the total prize money exceeded $100 million for the first time in a single season, and in 2024, it will grow even larger. The tournaments will take place in a total of 10 countries, including the United States.
The opening event will be the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions (total prize money $1.5 million), held on January 18 next year in Orlando, Florida, USA. In March, the Park Seri LA Open will follow in California, USA, with a total prize money of $2 million. This tournament was held under the name Dio Implant LA Open this year. Next year, the "golf legend" Park Seri will serve as the host. The Korean tournament, the BMW Ladies Championship (total prize money $2.2 million), will be held over four days starting October 17 next year.

The season's first major tournament, the Chevron Championship (total prize money $5.2 million), will kick off on April 18 in Texas, USA. The 2024 Paris Olympic women's golf competition will be held over four days starting August 8. Participants will be determined based on world rankings as of June 24. The LPGA Tour will conclude the 2024 season with the CME Group Tour Championship (total prize money $11 million), held from November 21 to 24.
