Icheon City Conducts Technology Protection Training for Semiconductor Company Employees
In Collaboration with Gyeonggi Nambu Police Agency
On the 16th, Icheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it conducted a 'Semiconductor Company Technology Protection Training' for employees of semiconductor companies in the area on the 15th, in collaboration with the Southern Gyeonggi Provincial Police Agency.
Semiconductor companies in the Icheon area are attending lectures at Icheon City's 'Semiconductor Technology Protection Education.'

In this training, an industrial security cooperation officer served as a professional instructor and provided education on ▲laws related to industrial technology protection investigations ▲punishments for illegal activities ▲cases of apprehending recent technology leakage incidents. The training particularly focused on the Act on the Prevention of Unfair Competition and Protection of Trade Secrets to enhance understanding of technology leakage prevention.
Earlier, in July, the city signed a 'Semiconductor Company Technology Protection Business Agreement' with five organizations, including Yongin City, Seongnam City, the National Intelligence Service, and the Southern Gyeonggi Provincial Police Agency.
