Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, encouraged high school seniors taking the 2024 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) by sharing his diary from 43 years ago.
On the 16th, Lee posted on Facebook, "Just having passed through the seemingly endless tunnel called the third year of high school, you are already amazing," and added, "If you don’t get too nervous and believe in yourself, you will be able to achieve good results proportional to your efforts."

View original imageHe continued, "At the same time, I also cheer with equal strength for the lives of nineteen-year-olds who are not taking the CSAT," saying, "Although you did not head to the exam hall today, there will be other tests waiting for you in your life ahead. If you believe in the time you have accumulated and in yourself, I am confident you can succeed in any challenge."
Lee said, "I looked through my faded diary. On June 10, 1980, for young Lee Jae-myung, university was a lifeline that would help fulfill the dream of 'living well,'” adding, “It was also the conclusion of a resolution to 'positively and beautifully shape my life.'"
