Operation of the 'Visiting Public Property On-Site Support Center' in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju
Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, will operate the ‘Visiting Public Property On-site Support Center’ in five neighborhoods including Samdo-dong until the 17th.
This is to provide civil administrative services such as leasing, renewal, and sale consultations of idle properties to residents in rural areas far from the city center ahead of the year-end when many lease contracts expire.
As of this month, Gwangsan-gu has 516 parcels of general property owned by the district and city, of which 386 parcels (75%) are farmland with poor transportation conditions.
Most of the cultivators are middle-aged and elderly, and many have difficulties visiting the district office or applying for civil petitions.
The district shortens the processing time of civil petitions by assisting with the preparation of public property lease applications and contracts on the day of the visit through the On-site Support Center.
