This campaign was part of efforts to establish a winter safety culture by conducting safety inspections on boilers through a proactive safety culture campaign, considering the vulnerability of boiler management at the beginning of the winter season when boilers are not yet in operation. It promoted and provided guidance on the risks of carbon monoxide poisoning, prevention methods, and safety inspection procedures.
Additionally, during the winter period, publicity will be conducted using electronic display boards and safety text messages will be sent to residents frequently to focus on preventing accidents caused by carbon monoxide.
Lee Gwang-su, the head of the county's Safety General Division, said, “Through the public-private joint campaign activities, we will broaden residents' safety awareness and continuously strive to establish a winter safety culture.”
