Female CEOs and Students Gather... Future Women Entrepreneurs Development Workshop Held

Senior Female CEO Shares Experience and Know-how
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced that it will hold an integrated workshop on the 14th and 15th at Resom Resort in Yesan, Chungnam, where female students participating in the Future Women Entrepreneurs Development Project and female CEOs will come together.

View original imageThis integrated workshop is conducted to pass on the experiences and know-how of senior female CEOs so that female students can grow into future women entrepreneurs. It consists of sharing the achievements of previous activities such as female CEO special lectures by school, field visits to women-led companies, global business experiences, and startup idea mentoring, as well as time for participating students to reflect on their experiences.
Lee Jeong-han, president of the Women Entrepreneurs Association, said, “Women-led companies are taking the lead in creating jobs for women,” adding, “We will ensure that women-led companies take the initiative in nurturing female students, the future generation, to grow into women entrepreneurs.”
Lee Dae-hee, Director of the SME Policy Office at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, said, “In an era of low birthrate and aging population, women’s economic activities are very important for the sustainable growth of our economy,” and added, “I hope this experience will serve as an opportunity for female students to achieve successful startups and employment.”

Students from 16 schools, including Gwangju Women’s University, Suwon Women’s University, Yerim Design High School, Seongam International Trade High School, Da-il Tourism High School, and Maehyang Girls’ Information High School, will participate in this workshop.
