Shinsegae Food announced on the 14th that it will introduce an unprecedentedly cost-effective new product, the 'Jjajang Burger,' available at No Brand Burger for 2,900 KRW for a single item and 4,900 KRW for a set.
This was prepared to commemorate the 2023 SSG Day, which involves 20 affiliates of the Shinsegae Group. The Jjajang Burger at No Brand Burger features a unique flavor created by Shinsegae Food’s specially developed jjajang sauce, a meat patty that is 20% thicker than those of other brands, along with onions and lettuce harmoniously combined.
Shinsegae Food plans to strengthen its cost-effectiveness strategy, which has satisfied consumers with reasonable prices through the Jjajang Burger, in line with No Brand Burger’s brand slogan, 'Why pay more? It’s good enough.' At the same time, it aims to enhance the psychological satisfaction relative to price (gasimbi) by offering excellent taste and quality for the price.
Alongside the Jjajang Burger, Shinsegae Food has also launched the 'JjaGyeChi Burger,' which includes egg and cheese for consumers who want a richer umami flavor. It is priced at 4,400 KRW for a single item and 6,400 KRW for a set. Additionally, recognizing that many consumers enjoy eating jjajangmyeon with fried dumplings, they introduced Popcorn Mandu, a side menu that maximizes crunchy taste. Furthermore, new menu items called JjajangPop Single Pack and JjaGyeChiPop Single Pack, which combine the Jjajang Burger or JjaGyeChi Burger with Popcorn Mandu, have also been launched.
To celebrate the launch of the Jjajang Burger at No Brand Burger, Shinsegae Food is selling 10,000 e-coupons on a first-come, first-served basis starting today on SSG.com, allowing customers to enjoy the Jjajang Burger set at a 20% discounted price of 3,920 KRW.
