Eunkyung Ah, CEO of Cerat, Donates 100 Million KRW to Korea University Business School Development Fund
Korea University announced on the 13th that Eun Kyung-ah, CEO of Serat (MBA Class of 1981), donated 100 million KRW to the College of Business Development Fund.
CEO Eun founded Serat in 2009 and grew it into a global leader in the zirconia ceramic materials sector. Serat has been selected as a 'World-Class Product and Manufacturing Company' by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy for seven consecutive years. CEO Eun has also been active in various roles such as a member of the Presidential Youth Committee and the Regulatory Reform Committee, receiving presidential citations in 2012 and 2017.
CEO Eun stated her motivation for the donation: "I hope that more seniors and juniors of Korea University’s College of Business will embody 'good influence' by building companies with entrepreneurial spirit, making the world healthier through excellent products and services, and giving back to society through donation and sharing."
