View original imageThe Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education is producing and distributing the ‘Gyeonggi-type Green Smart School Pre-Planning Reference Guide for When You Are Curious and Puzzled’ to bring new changes to school spaces.
The Gyeonggi-type Green Smart School project involves reorganizing school facilities that are over 40 years old into spaces linked with future education. The project began with 68 schools in 2021, continued with 41 schools in 2022, and 19 schools in 2023. After 2024, 102 schools will participate in the project.
The Office of Education previously formed a task force (TF) consisting of experienced on-site teachers and experts specialized in school space creation to produce the reference materials.
The reference guide explains the main flow of the pre-planning process, including ▲current status analysis ▲setting future education directions ▲user participatory design ▲proposing a future school model (draft) ▲suggesting project implementation methods, to guide schools on how to set directions and carry out detailed processes for creating new spaces. An index list is displayed on the right side of the guide to help easily find the necessary content.
