On the 9th (local time), AI startup Humane unveiled the AI assistant 'AI Pin,' which is worn on the collar. The 'AI Pin' is about the size of a business card and can be magnetically attached to clothing.
The 'AI Pin' is a device without a display that allows users to make calls or send texts through voice and touch. It is equipped with AI based on ChatGPT. To view the screen, users can use their palm. A laser projector displays the screen on the palm, and users can swipe through the screen by moving their fingers.

When a call comes in, bringing the hand close shows who is calling. If you bring food close and ask about calories, it accurately responds with the calorie count via voice. It also summarizes emails and offers a function to record conversations. Equipped with a camera, speaker, and various sensors, it collects diverse information to provide a personalized AI assistant.

The device has a built-in speaker and camera, and lights blink when these functions are active. Double-tapping the device takes photos or videos. The company also explained that it can translate conversations between Spanish and English in real time.
In a video posted on its website, the company stated, "(The AI Pin) is not always listening or recording," and "It does nothing until the user engages, and user engagement occurs through voice, touch, or gestures."
Humane set the price of the device at $699 (approximately 910,000 KRW). Additionally, users must pay a monthly data fee of $24 to the mobile carrier T-Mobile.
Humane announced plans to start accepting orders for the 'AI Pin' from the 16th.
