Dongmyeong University Department of Pet Grooming and Behavior Correction, Silver and Encouragement Awards at International Pet Groomer Competition
Students from the Department of Pet Grooming and Behavior Correction at Dongmyung University won the silver prize and other awards at the 2023 Korea International Dog Grooming Competition hosted by the Korea Kennel Club (KKC).
At the competition held on November 4, first-year student Bong Chaeyeon received the silver prize, and Kim Sohee was awarded the encouragement prize.

At the event, first-year students Kim Sohee, Bong Chaeyeon, Kim Eunseop, and Ahn Seojeong from Dongmyung University's Department of Pet Grooming and Behavior Correction, along with about 400 participants from around the world, showcased their skills.
Dongmyung University was the first in the nation to establish a College of Companion Animals, creating the Department of Companion Animal Health, the Department of Pet Grooming and Behavior Correction, and the Department of Companion Animal Industry (with majors in Pet Food and Companion Animal Industry Design), actively fostering specialized talent in the companion animal industry through education for acquiring related certifications.
