The Council was launched to systematically prevent and respond to the distribution damages of counterfeit products frequently occurring in domestic export companies in sectors such as food, cosmetics, and clothing.
Starting next year, the Council will regularly carry out activities including ▲collecting and providing information on overseas counterfeit product distribution ▲sharing response know-how ▲education to raise awareness for protecting K-Brand ▲providing information on overseas agents.
Additionally, the Council plans to lead K-Brand counterfeit product response meetings and seminars to share cases of counterfeit product responses, gather industry opinions, and reflect them in policies.
KIPO plans to promote tailored responses to K-Brand counterfeit products and gather industry opinions and policy reflections by considering the characteristics of products and services of each association, and to continuously expand the Council to industries where overseas counterfeit product damages frequently occur.
