Daesang 'Jeongwon e-Shop' Obtains ISMS-P Certification for Personal Information Protection Management System

Daesang's official online shopping mall, 'Jeongwon e-Shop,' announced on the 8th that it has obtained the 'ISMS-P' certification, the highest authority in personal information protection management system in Korea.
The ISMS-P certification is an integrated certification system for information protection and personal information protection management systems jointly announced by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Personal Information Protection Commission. It evaluates a series of measures and activities for corporate personal information protection through rigorous verification. The detailed certification criteria are divided into three areas: establishment and operation of management systems, protection measure requirements, and requirements for each stage of personal information processing, totaling 102 items.
Jeongwon e-Shop of Daesang received a certification suitability judgment through the ISMS-P certification audit, which includes legal requirements for the entire lifecycle of customers' personal information such as collection, use, storage, and destruction. Through this certification, it has achieved an objective verification and demonstration of the safety and reliability of customer personal information management throughout all processes from the point customers join Jeongwon e-Shop to their usage.
Additionally, in February last year, it focused on enhancing the level of customer personal information protection by becoming the first in the domestic food industry to acquire two global standard personal information and information protection management system certifications (ISO27001, ISO27701) from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
