Hyoungji Elite announced on the 8th that it will accelerate the strengthening of its ready-made uniform business by unveiling a new brand identity (BI) for its ready-made uniform brand ‘Will be’. Accordingly, the company plans to further solidify its position in the market by launching an upgraded new lineup starting next year.
Will be is Korea’s first ready-made uniform brand, launched in 1970 by Elite, which belonged to Cheil Industries. In 2013, it was incorporated into Hyoungji Elite under Fashion Group Hyoungji. Since then, Will be was newly renewed and relaunched in 2017, exerting significant influence in the ready-made uniform market.
In fact, since the brand’s reorganization, Will be has shown an annual sales growth rate of over 20%. Riding this momentum, it has secured 200 dealerships and outlets nationwide, establishing a dominant position in the ready-made uniform market.
This achievement was largely influenced by Vice Chairman Choi Junho, who anticipated the growth potential in the ready-made uniform sector. Moving away from the image of workwear that is worn briefly and discarded, he attempted to transform it into workwear that highlights professionalism in various fields through differentiated designs and excellent quality. The combination of stylish casual-worthy differentiated workwear designs and outstanding functionality proved to be a winning strategy. As a result, Will be has been able to supply uniforms not only for workwear, office wear, and safety shoes targeting companies and organizations but also for large corporations, financial institutions, and the service sector.
Additionally, Hyoungji Elite’s Will be plans to introduce a strengthened new line along with the new BI starting next year. Examples include the Tech Series, featuring denim suits made with Cordura fabric and highly stretchable rib-span suits.
