Krafton Operating Profit Increases by 30.9%... Announcement of Seongsu-dong Building Acquisition

Krafton announced on the 7th that its consolidated operating profit for the third quarter of this year was tentatively estimated at 189.3 billion KRW, a 30.9% increase compared to the same period last year.
Sales increased by 3.8% year-on-year to 450.3 billion KRW. Net profit decreased by 6.6% to 211.6 billion KRW.
Additionally, Krafton disclosed that it acquired the land and building of 'Megabox Square' in Seongsu-dong 1-ga, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, from Jungang Multiplex Development for 243.5 billion KRW. The scheduled acquisition date is the 30th of this month.
Currently located in the Centerfield Building on Teheran-ro, Gangnam-gu, Krafton has been steadily purchasing real estate in the Seongsu-dong area since around 2020. In 2021, it formed a consortium with Mirae Asset Global Investments and acquired the Seongsu-dong Emart headquarters, with a total floor area of 99,000㎡.

A Krafton representative stated that the purpose of this real estate acquisition is "to secure office space for employees and to reduce long-term rental costs."
