Masan Fire Station Breaks Ground on 'Namseong 119 Safety Center' ... Scheduled for Completion in October 2024
On the 7th, Masan Fire Station of Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, announced that the 'Namseong 119 Safety Center' will be relocated and rebuilt to provide better fire services.
According to the fire station, the Namseong 119 Safety Center, with a total floor area of 990.47㎡ over 2 above-ground floors, will be completed by October 2024 at 652-1 Hoewon-dong, Masanhwoewon-gu, along with one other parcel.
The Namseong 119 Safety Center had been in need of relocation and reconstruction due to the aging of the building and insufficient equal initial response during fire and other disaster incidents.
The fire station expects that with the relocation and reconstruction of the Namseong 119 Safety Center, training space for dispatch personnel will be secured, working conditions improved, and road accessibility enhanced, thereby securing the golden time and providing high-quality fire services to citizens.
