Disney's 100th Anniversary Animation 'Wish' to Premiere in January Next Year
Walt Disney Company Korea announced on the 7th that the Disney 100th anniversary animated film 'Wish' will be released in January next year.
'Wish' (directed by Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn) tells the adventure of Asha, a brave girl who loves the Kingdom of Rosas and strives to protect the wishes of the people.
Chris Buck, who directed the 'Frozen' series (2014?2019) that attracted 10 million viewers, and Fawn Veerasunthorn, the producer of 'Raya and the Last Dragon' (2021), co-directed the film. Jennifer Lee, who wrote the screenplay for the 'Frozen' series, penned the script.
Julia Michaels, a composer and singer-songwriter who has worked with famous pop stars such as Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, and Grammy-winning Benjamin Rice participated in the OST.

Ariana DeBose, who swept awards including the Academy Award and Critics' Choice Award for Best Supporting Actress for 'West Side Story,' provided the voice of Asha, while Chris Pine, known for his distinctive performances in the 'Star Trek' series and 'Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves,' voiced King Magnifico.
