Gangseo-gu Job Fair to be Held on the 8th at Magok Seoul Startup Hub M+
20 Companies Hiring 165 People... Public Corporation Special Lecture Included
Gangseo-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon) will hold the 2nd Job Fair on the 8th at Magok-dong Seoul Startup Hub Mplus (M+), taking the lead in alleviating employment difficulties by connecting outstanding talent with job opportunities.
The fair will be divided into ▲Company Recruitment Hall ▲Employment Support Hall ▲Event Hall. In the ‘Company Recruitment Hall,’ 20 companies related to e-commerce, trade, and service industries will participate and plan to hire 165 job seekers.
On the day, job seekers will be able to explore various companies' job information, submit resumes, and attend interviews with HR managers on-site, allowing the hiring process to proceed so that job seekers can be hired immediately. In particular, P&P Secure, a software development company located in the Magok district, will participate, raising expectations for significant interest and support from young job seekers.
In the ‘Employment Support Hall,’ five job-related institutions including Gangseo Employment Welfare Plus Center, Gangseo 50 Plus Center, Gangseo Senior Club, Hankyung Association Middle-aged and Senior Tomorrow Center, and Korea Polytechnic University Seoul Gangseo Campus will participate to promote their projects and offer various experience programs.
Additionally, a special lecture on public enterprises, preferred by young job seekers, will be held. Park Gyu-hyun, Chief Consultant of GetJob Consulting, will provide detailed strategies for successful employment in public enterprises, including NCS competency-based hiring strategies, resume writing methods, and interview preparation techniques.
Job seekers can register and apply for the public enterprise special lecture on the district office website (Notices/News). After the job fair, the district office plans to continue matching unemployed individuals with jobs for three months and manage the employment retention status of those employed, including job changes and resignations.
