Busan Bank Wins 'ESG Management' Award from the Korean Marketing Management Association
BNK Busan Bank received the 'ESG Management' grand prize at the '2023 Autumn Integrated Marketing Academic Conference.' The event was held on the afternoon of the 3rd at Kyungsung University, hosted by the Korean Marketing Management Association.
The Korean Marketing Management Association was founded in 1991 and has over 1,000 members who engage in various activities in academic conferences and the domestic marketing field. It has also been awarding companies that demonstrate outstanding marketing achievements and practice ESG management.
As a financial institution representing the region, BNK Busan Bank has prioritized customer satisfaction and strived to protect financial consumers.

Recently, to measure Busan Bank's role in the Busan area, the global accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) calculated the social value created last year, which amounted to 1.9 trillion KRW based on global standards. The value of taxes paid to the region and consumption induced in the region exceeded 600 billion KRW, indicating a high contribution to the local community.
Social value refers to the monetary quantification of the impact of corporate activities not only on the economy but also on all areas including the environment, society, and culture.
