Icheon Hot Place 'Simmons Terrace' Christmas Tree Lighting

A Christmas tree has been installed at Simmons Terrace located in Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do.

On the 6th, Simmons announced that it will light up a Christmas tree and illuminations at the complex cultural space 'Simmons Terrace' located in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, to celebrate the year-end season.

This lighting event is a cultural sharing project planned as part of Simmons' ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management to promote coexistence with the local community. Starting in 2018, this event is now in its sixth year and has become a nationwide attraction through word of mouth, revitalizing the Icheon area even during the winter off-season.

The grand tree and decorations filling the terrace lawn garden, along with the sophisticated illuminations covering the courtyard space, offer a variety of sights and entertainment. Approximately 30,000 visitors came during the two days of last year's Christmas holiday (December 24-25).

It has also emerged as a popular spot for certification shots on social networking services (SNS), establishing itself as a must-visit 'Christmas hot place' during the year-end and New Year holidays. The cumulative number of Instagram posts with the hashtag (#) Simmons Terrace has exceeded 110,000.

This year’s Christmas illumination, themed 'Candy Village in a Fairy Tale,' will captivate visitors with colorful beautiful lights and candy-shaped objects. The entrance from the parking tower to the terrace is filled with red trees, creating a romantic Christmas atmosphere. The lawn garden is enriched with a total of six trees, including two main trees up to 8 meters high decorated with thousands of colored bulbs and ornaments.

Additionally, large candy cane-shaped objects are placed throughout, evoking the feeling of being in a candy village from a fairy tale. In the courtyard between European-style buildings, visitors can enjoy a dazzling and beautiful Christmas night atmosphere with large snowflake lights reminiscent of heavy snow under colorful lighting. The farm garden located behind the grocery edit shop Public Market is adorned with cozy golden lights, welcoming visitors. The Christmas decorations added to the farm garden’s unique coziness provide visitors with perfect year-end memories.
