Gwangju Seo-gu 'Visiting Integrated Health Camp' Successfully Concluded
巡回 through 10 neighborhoods from March... Supporting residents' healthy lives
Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Kim Ikang) announced on the 3rd that it has successfully concluded the "Visiting Integrated Health Camp" that operated for the past eight months.
Starting from Pungam-dong in March and continuing until Sangmu 2-dong on November 3rd, Seo-gu operated the "Visiting Integrated Health Camp" by touring a total of 10 neighborhoods to support residents' healthy lives.
This project involved five departments from the public health center and four departments from the health university. Targeting about 900 residents, various basic health checkups and health consultations were conducted at neighborhood administrative welfare center meeting rooms and welfare centers, including ▲ophthalmology examinations and vision tests ▲mental health tests such as depression and stress, and dementia tests ▲basic health checkups such as blood pressure and blood sugar ▲Korean traditional medicine treatment ▲physical therapy ▲tuberculosis tests.
Seo-gu is continuously conducting follow-up management in connection with the neighborhoods for residents classified as high-risk groups based on mental health (dementia) and ophthalmology examination results, including additional tests.
In addition, service satisfaction evaluations were conducted according to gender and age, and any areas needing improvement will be reflected in future camp operations.
