A Man in His 40s Arrested for Setting Fire to Two Cars After Quarreling with Spouse
On the 2nd, the Jangheung Police Station in Jeonnam announced that they have arrested and are investigating a man in his 40s, identified as A, on suspicion of arson after he set fire to vehicles following an argument with his spouse.
A is suspected of setting fire to two vehicles he owned, which were parked in front of his house in Jangheung-eup, Jangheung-gun, Jeonnam, at around 4:34 PM the previous day.
There were no casualties from the fire, but both vehicles were completely destroyed, resulting in an estimated property damage of about 42 million won, according to the fire department.
The police responded to the report and arrested A at the scene as a suspect caught in the act.
