Pukyong National University Hosts '2023 PKNU Career and Employment Fair'
National Pukyong National University held the '2023 PKNU Career and Employment Fair' on the afternoon of the 1st at the Daeyeon Campus Gymnasium to mark the beginning of the full-scale second half recruitment season.
The fair featured participation from 40 organizations including large corporations, mid-sized and small businesses, public institutions, financial institutions, and research institutes, and was organized into corporate booths, current employee booths, promotional booths, and event booths.
Pukyong National University expanded the target participants of the fair to include PKNU students, unemployed graduates, and local youth, accepting both pre-registrations and on-site registrations.
At the corporate booths, which included Samsung Heavy Industries, Geumyang, Korea Investment & Securities, SK Ocean Plant, Korea Kongsberg Maritime, Yurim Specialty Chemicals, and Busan Transportation Corporation, programs such as on-site interviews with HR managers and guidance on recruitment information and desired talent profiles were conducted.
In particular, the current employee booths, where attendees could obtain vivid information about the employment preparation process and job duties from current workers, were also operated on the day. The 'PKNU Career Mentor Group,' consisting of 20 PKNU graduates working at large corporations and public institutions, provided individual counseling and consulting at each booth in the current employee section.
Additionally, promotional booths operated by related organizations such as the Busan Regional Employment and Labor Office, the university's Career Plus Center, the LINC3.0 Project Group, the Southeast Region Women in Science and Engineering Talent Development Project Group, and the Intelligent Robot Innovation Convergence University Project Group were set up in the promotional area. The event area also featured image consulting booths and food trucks.
