Gwangjin-gu Issues Gwangjin Love Gift Certificates Worth 14 Billion KRW
Available for purchase at a 7% discounted price, with a monthly limit of 500,000 KRW... Purchase via apps like SeoulPay+ and ShinhanSOL from 11 AM on November 1... Expected to ease residents' cost burden and boost local economy through increased consumption
Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) will issue 'Gwangjin Love Gift Certificates' worth 14 billion KRW to mark the year-end and New Year holidays.
This is to alleviate the residents' burden of rising prices and stimulate consumption to revitalize the local commercial district.
The district announced that following the issuance of 36 billion KRW worth of Gwangjin Love Gift Certificates this year, an additional 14 billion KRW worth of gift certificates will be issued during the year-end and New Year period, when consumption is expected to increase.
The gift certificates can be purchased at a 7% discount starting from 11:00 AM on November 1 until sold out. The monthly purchase limit per person is 500,000 KRW, and the holding limit is 1,500,000 KRW. They can be purchased through the apps 'Seoul Pay+', 'Money Tree', 'T-money Pay', 'Shinhan SOL', and 'Shinhan Play', and the validity period is five years from the date of purchase.
Additionally, 'Gwangjin Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificates' worth 500 million KRW will be issued simultaneously. 'Gwangjin Ttaenggyeoyo' is a public delivery app launched in January last year to reduce the burden on small business owners caused by high advertising fees and commissions of private delivery apps. The monthly purchase limit per person is 200,000 KRW, and the holding limit is 1,000,000 KRW. Like the Gwangjin Love Gift Certificates, they can be purchased through the same five apps, and the validity period is one year from the date of purchase.
