According to the Lumpy Skin Disease Central Accident Response Headquarters on the 30th, as of 8 a.m., a total of 61 cases have been reported across 22 cities and counties. The number of cattle raised at the affected farms, including Korean native cattle, dairy cows, and beef cattle, is 4,107 heads. The response headquarters is currently conducting tests on 4 cases.
On the 28th, a total of 8 cases were reported in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, and Asan, Chungnam Province. On the 29th, Lumpy Skin Disease was first detected at a farm in Muan, Jeonnam Province, which raises 134 heads of Korean native cattle.
