More than 120 people attended the festival, including about 80 students and faculty members. The selected film was "Sprinter," which highlights the life of a short-distance track athlete. After the screening, director Choi Seung-yeon and actors Gong Min-jeong, Lim Ji-ho, and Jeon Shin-hwan visited for a stage greeting to enhance the understanding of the film. Throughout the festival, sign language interpreters and captioners assisted communication among attendees.
In particular, the barrier-free subtitles for Sprinter were produced through volunteer activities by employees of KT regional headquarters and KT Alpha. KT employees who participated in volunteer activities throughout September also created subtitles for "Not Out," the award-winning film at the 22nd Jeonju International Film Festival, in addition to Sprinter. The produced barrier-free subtitles will be provided for streaming and VOD services.
