Hwaseong City Small Theater to Host 'Day the Theater Stands' from 6th to 10th Next Month
Screening of Four New Gugak Performances at the National Theater
Hwaseong City Small Theater in Gyeonggi-do will hold the National Theater special exhibition "The Day the Theater Stands" screening excellent creative performances from the National Theater for five days from the 6th to the 10th of next month.
Hwaseong City Small Theater is a 150-seat cinema opened last December at Mado Cultural Center in Mado-myeon to expand access to film culture in the western region of the city.
This special exhibition was prepared by the National Theater in collaboration with 19 small theaters nationwide to provide citizens with an easier opportunity to enjoy performances from the National Theater.
During the exhibition period, live performances will be screened twice daily. The screening works include four pieces: the National Changgeuk Company’s ▲Gwito ▲Chunhyang ▲Byeonggangsoe Jeomjjigo Ongnyeo, and the National Gugak Orchestra’s children’s concert ▲Entongi’s Dongyo Country 2.
The admission fee is 5,000 won, and tickets can be reserved on-site or through the Hwaseong City Small Theater website.
