Jeju Air Receives Award for Contributions to Blood Services from the Korean Red Cross
Bi-monthly Employee Blood Donation Campaign Participation
Jeju Air announced on the 27th that it received a commendation for blood donation services in celebration of the 118th anniversary of the Korean Red Cross. This recognition was awarded for contributing to the promotion of a culture of life-sharing through voluntary blood donation campaigns by its employees.
This commendation is given by the Red Cross to organizations that actively participate in the Red Cross humanitarian movement and contribute to the development of blood donation services for the protection of human life, in commemoration of its 118th anniversary.
Since 2019, Jeju Air has conducted voluntary blood donation campaigns every even-numbered month with its employees in cooperation with the Korean Red Cross. The company has also made designated donations to the Jeju Blood Management Headquarters and the Korea Leukemia Children's Foundation, and on World Blood Donor Day last June, it donated support supplies to the Seoul Central Blood Center.
