On the Morning of the 25th, Headquarters Holds 56th Anniversary Ceremony
On the morning of the 25th, BNK Busan Bank held its 56th anniversary ceremony at the main auditorium, attended by over 300 Busan Bank executives and employees.
Founded on October 25, 1967, with a capital of 300 million KRW and 82 employees, Busan Bank has grown into the leading regional bank in Korea with a capital of 977.4 billion KRW and over 3,700 employees. Currently, Busan Bank operates three branches and three offices in Asia, including China, Vietnam, India, and Myanmar, strengthening its presence as a global financial company.
At the ceremony, Busan Bank pledged to create a dynamic bank where customer trust, employee happiness, and the bank’s development always go hand in hand by completing the vision of a “right and strong bank” amid organizational change and innovation.

At the ceremony, President Bang Seong-bin said, “I sincerely thank our customers and everyone in the local community who have supported Busan Bank to reach where it is today,” adding, “We will continue to fulfill our social responsibilities through customer-centered management and social contribution activities unique to Busan Bank, growing together with society.” He emphasized, “The past 56 years of history are invaluable, but at the same time, they are the history we must overcome,” and urged, “With the goal of making Busan Bank able to survive any crisis, I ask all employees to strive for small but decisive differences in their respective duties.”
