According to Yeongdeungpo Fire Station, at 11:06 a.m. on the 25th, a 4-meter-deep ground subsidence (sinkhole) occurred on a traffic island at the crosswalk in front of Park One in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, prompting firefighters to dispatch to the scene.
As a result of the accident, a man in his 30s passing through the area sustained minor injuries to his thigh and was transported to Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital. The sinkhole is estimated to be 5 meters wide, 4 meters long, and 4 meters deep.
