S-OIL Cultivates ‘Companion Beach’ with Local Residents ... Coastal Plogging Conducted
S-OIL conducted a coastal plogging activity to preserve the marine ecosystem.
This activity took place at the 'Companion Beach' (the beach around Mokdo, Onsan-eup, Ulju-gun, Ulsan), which S-OIL adopted for the first time in the Ulsan area last July, with about 50 Onsan residents and employees participating.
The 'Companion Beach Program' is a program where companies or organizations adopt a specific beach like a pet to nurture and care for it, aiming to collect marine litter and improve the scenery. The program is organized by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and the Korea Marine Environment Management Corporation.
Participants in the coastal plogging activity are taking a group commemorative photo.
