Ulsan Ulju-gun Hosts '2023 Visiting Welfare School'
Ulsan Ulju-gun held the '2023 Visiting Welfare School' on the 25th to enhance understanding of community-centered village welfare projects and strengthen the capacity of the local human safety net.
This welfare school started in Beomseo-eup on the same day and will continue in Eonyang-eup on the 26th and Onyang-eup on the 30th.
The event was conducted for village chiefs, members of local social security councils, and residents, focusing on the recently emerging social issues of solitary deaths and the importance of identifying welfare blind spots.

At the event, an expert gave a lecture on discovering socially isolated households and preventing solitary deaths, along with presentations on cases of welfare blind spot identification and guidance on social security systems.
Lee Soon-geol, the head of Ulju-gun, said, “With the recent increase in socially isolated households, unfortunate incidents such as solitary deaths continue to occur,” and added, “I ask for your attention to the welfare-disadvantaged groups so that such incidents no longer happen around us.”
