Professor Kim Se-yeon of Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital Receives Seokcheon Academic Award from the Korean Pediatric Society
Professor Kim Se-yeon of the Department of Pediatrics at Catholic University Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital announced on the 24th that she received the 'Seokcheon Academic Award (Thesis Category)' at the '2023 Autumn Academic Conference of the Korean Pediatric Society'.
The Seokcheon Academic Award is given in accordance with the wishes of Professor Hong Chang-ui Seokcheon (石泉), who authored a pediatric textbook, and is awarded to one outstanding paper published in domestic and international academic journals.

Professor Kim was recognized for the academic excellence of her research titled "The Impact of Postnatal Growth Failure in Extremely Low Birth Weight Infants on Early School-Age Brain Structure, Functional Connectivity Development, and Cognitive Function," published in the March issue of an international journal issued by the American Medical Association.
