Ten Citizens Publish Life Stories... Ulsan City Holds 'Citizen Autobiography Publication Ceremony'
Ulsan City will hold the '2023 Ulsan Citizen Autobiography Publication Celebration' at 10 a.m. on the 24th at Tosca inside the Ulsan Culture and Arts Center.
At the event, Seo Jeong-wook, Deputy Mayor, autobiography publication participants, mentor writers including Kwon Bi-young, author of the novel Deokhyeongongju, and families of the participants, totaling about 50 people, will attend to deliver the autobiographies, take commemorative photos, and hold a publication celebration book talk.
The 2023 citizen autobiography, Now, Here, Embracing Myself II, collects the life stories of 10 citizens from their 30s to their 100s, representing various ages and occupations.
The 10 citizens who participated in the autobiography publication were selected through public recruitment and document screening, and they took part in the publication process by writing their autobiography manuscripts themselves under the guidance of professional writers.
The book will be available at public libraries in the Ulsan area starting November this year.
