KB Securities Supports 'Hangang Outdoor Wedding' for Vulnerable Couples

KB Securities and the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Future Hangang Headquarters collaborated to hold the second "Hangang Outdoor Wedding" of the year on the 22nd at the Rose Garden in Gwangnaru Hangang Park.

The Hangang Outdoor Wedding support project is a social contribution initiative jointly carried out by KB Securities and the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Future Hangang Headquarters, providing full coverage of wedding expenses for vulnerable groups. Couples who could not afford a wedding due to financial difficulties were selected as final beneficiaries based on recommendations from local district offices, and the wedding ceremony was held at 2 p.m. on the 22nd at the Gwangnaru Hangang Park Rose Garden.
Notably, this project marks the second time KB Securities and the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Future Hangang Headquarters have conducted the Hangang Outdoor Wedding support project since its first launch in June. It is gaining attention as a good example of continuity in the project and public-private cooperation. KB Securities covered all costs related to planning, studio, dress, and wedding equipment rental, while the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Future Hangang Headquarters handled the venue rental at Gwangnaru Hangang Park Rose Garden and overall wedding operation.
Junglim Park and Sunghyun Kim, CEOs of KB Securities, stated, "Strengthening the bonds within the local community and our society is an important value pursued by KB Securities," adding, "We will continue to carry out warm social contribution projects that resonate with various members of society, such as supporting this wedding."

KB Securities and the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Future Hangang Headquarters began their collaboration last September by completing the 'KB Securities Green Growth Road,' planting 7,300 trees at Nanji Camping Site, where they invited 24 vulnerable families for a free camping program. This year, they continued their close cooperation in social contribution activities by inviting 23 multicultural low-income families to Nanji Camping Site for the 'Happy Ttukttak Kkaebi Securities Green Camping' and supporting this Hangang Outdoor Wedding.
