BNK Gyeongnam Bank Conducts 'Financial Consumer Protection Officer Group Training'

Approximately 200 Counter Staff and Others Participate with Enthusiasm
BNK Gyeongnam Bank is focusing on strengthening employee capabilities to protect financial consumers.
BNK Gyeongnam Bank announced on the 20th that it conducted a ‘Financial Consumer Protection Officer Group Training’.
The training, held simultaneously in the conference room and BNK Gyeongnam Bank’s metaverse ‘Kneverse,’ was attended by about 200 people, including financial consumer protection officers and front-line staff leading financial consumer protection at each branch such as Changwon Sales Headquarters, Dongbu Sales Headquarters, Seobu Sales Headquarters, and Ulsan Sales Headquarters, as well as financial consumer protection officers from headquarters departments planning bank policies.
Participating employees received education from five professional instructors of the Financial Consumer Protection Department on actual voice phishing damages and complaint cases experienced by financial consumers.
They also learned ways to prevent recurrence and protect consumers’ benefits, reaffirming the true meaning of financial consumer protection.
In particular, this training was simultaneously conducted in BNK Gyeongnam Bank’s metaverse ‘Kneverse’ to allow as many employees as possible to attend.
Kim Yang-sook, Executive Director in charge of Financial Consumer Protection, stated, “BNK Gyeongnam Bank is doing its best to prevent financial consumers from falling victim to voice phishing and to minimize customer inconvenience. Especially, since more than one financial consumer protection officer at each branch regularly participates in training and is advancing as experts, we will continue to strive for the benefit of financial consumers.”
