Guro-gu (District Mayor Moon Heon-il) will hold the '2023 Disabled Job Fair.'
The Guro-gu Disabled Job Fair is held annually to support job information and hiring opportunities for people with disabilities who wish to find employment, aiming to promote employment for the disabled.
This year's Disabled Job Fair will be held on the 20th of next month at the district office auditorium from 3 PM to 5 PM.
Job seekers with disabilities can have one-on-one job interviews with recruiting companies in various fields such as manufacturing, IT and telecommunications, office work, and production/simple labor positions.
In addition to interviews, the district will operate auxiliary events necessary for employment. Participants can receive free services such as ID photo shooting for resumes, employment aptitude counseling, personal color diagnosis, and metabolic syndrome testing.
To ensure a comfortable fair experience for participants, the district plans to assign volunteers to guide attendees and sign language interpreters for the hearing impaired.
The fair is open to all people with disabilities who wish to find employment. When participating in the fair, bring a resume, self-introduction letter, welfare card, and one passport-sized photo, and visit the fair venue on the day without prior application.
A Guro-gu official stated, "We are diligently preparing the fair to support stable job opportunities for people with disabilities and provide meetings with various recruiting companies," and added, "We hope for the interest and participation of many."
Meanwhile, the district is recruiting companies to participate in the fair until the 27th of this month. Companies with plans to hire people with disabilities can apply by visiting the district office's Disabled Welfare Division or via email.
