Gwangju Economic Zone Authority Goes All Out to Promote Investment Attraction at Electric and Power Industry Exhibition
The Gwangju Free Economic Zone Authority is focusing its efforts on investment attraction promotion activities by participating in the '2023 Korea Electric Industry Exhibition - Korea Power Industry Exhibition,' the largest domestic exhibition in the electric and power generation industry sector, held at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul.
Hosted by the Korea Electrical Industry Promotion Association and Korea Electric Power Corporation, this exhibition runs until the 20th. Over 250 global companies, including LS Electric, HD Hyundai Electric, Hitachi Energy, Hyosung Industrial, and Woojin Industrial Systems, participated in large numbers, making it the largest scale event in the country.
Additionally, various side events such as export and purchase consultations for diverse power equipment required for power transmission, distribution, and cables, as well as technical conferences, were held.
The Gwangju Free Economic Zone Authority operated a promotional booth jointly with Gwangju Urban Corporation and Gwangju Technopark at this exhibition, explaining investment conditions and sales guidance for ▲Smart Energy Industrial Complex I & II ▲Future Mobility Industrial Complex ▲Artificial Intelligence (AI) Convergence Complex, as well as corporate support and fund investment, focusing on energy transition and new industry development linked to Gwangju City's AI industry, and also conducted investment consultations.
Gwangju Urban Corporation, which participated jointly in this exhibition, provided promotion and sales guidance for Energy Valley and Advanced 3 District, while Gwangju Technopark offered consultations on various corporate supports and fund investments.
The Gwangju Free Economic Zone Authority plans to promote multi-dimensional corporate attraction activities through collaboration with institutions and to focus on active consultations for companies interested in investing in the Free Economic Zone to ensure these lead to actual investments.
