'2023 Anseong Matchum Handmade Festival' to be Held on the 28th
Various Events Including Handmade Live Experience and Mokgeumto Market
Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province will hold the '2023 Anseong Matchum Handmade Festival' at Anseong Matchum Land on the 28th.
This festival is being promoted as a result of winning the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization's 'Gyeonggi-do Small Festival Development Support Contest.' The Anseong Tourism Dure Association is hosting and organizing the event under the theme 'Handmade (手作), Embracing Anseong!'
From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the 'Mokgeumto Market' will be held along Metasequoia Road. Visitors can find crafts from about 30 Anseong-area sellers, including leather, pottery, woodworking, natural soap, weaving, natural dyeing, and jewelry.
At the Handmade Live Experience, participants can vividly feel and create handmade products through activities such as making silver accessories, household items, ceramics, hanji crafts, natural soap and candles, macrame, natural dyeing, art printing, and puzzle experiences.
On the outdoor lawn plaza stage that day, performances by artists such as Ryu Yeonbok (Brush Play), Choi Sangseop (Pottery Wheel), Kim Jinha (Natural Soap), Hwang Mijeong (Weaving using thread and loom), and Lee Hanwon (Ceramics) will be held.
