"I Work Well, Diligent and Even Kind"... A Self-Portrait of Generation Z Part-Timers
7 out of 10 People Self-Evaluate as "Good at Work"

Most Gen Z part-time workers (alba workers) strive to perform well at their jobs, and 7 out of 10 actually consider themselves to be good at their work.

On the 19th, Alba Heaven, a job portal specializing in part-time jobs, conducted a survey of 744 Gen Z alba workers and found that most answered they strive to become 'Jiljalreo' (a person who works well), and 72.4% actually evaluated themselves as 'Jiljalreo.'
Among Gen Z alba workers, 98.3% reported making efforts to become 'Jiljalreo' while working part-time. The most cited reason was "because I get stressed when I handle tasks poorly (47.5%, multiple responses)."
Other reasons included ▲self-satisfaction (45.4%) ▲self-development (44.3%) ▲improvement in work efficiency and performance (42.8%).
As for specific efforts to become a 'Jiljalreo,' "kindness and positive mind control (62.1%, multiple responses)" ranked first.
Next were ▲perfect mastery of tasks through notes and memorization (58.1%) ▲learning know-how from Jiljalreo colleagues (43.8%) ▲studying part-time job training content (18.7%) in that order.
Additionally, 7 out of 10 (72.4%) considered themselves Jiljalreo, with the most common reason being "good attendance and diligence (63.8%, multiple responses)."
Other reasons included ▲recognition from part-time colleagues and bosses (56.0%) ▲quick mastery of tasks (53.1%) ▲believing their own work efficiency is high (37.7%).
The top secret to being a Jiljalreo, as identified by Gen Z alba workers who judged themselves as such, was "perfect mastery of tasks (67.2%, multiple responses)." Following were ▲greeting and responding kindly to customers (59.7%) ▲always working with a smile and a positive mindset (55.3%) ▲getting along well with colleagues and bosses (43.2%).

When asked about the characteristics of a 'Jiljalreo,' Gen Z alba workers responded with ▲positive mindset (70.3%, multiple responses) ▲excellent work sense (70.2%) ▲quick admission of mistakes (70.2%).
They also identified ▲quick situational judgment (64.8%) ▲diligent work attitude (61.8%) ▲kindness (37.8%) ▲strong sense of responsibility (36.2%) ▲proactive task handling (28.2%) as qualities a Jiljalreo should have.

Conversely, regarding 'Ilmotreo' (a person who works poorly), the biggest characteristic was "frequent mistakes (70.4%)." Other traits included ▲insincere work attitude (64.2%) ▲frequent tardiness and absences (54.6%) ▲lack of understanding of task priorities (48.7%) ▲making excuses and shifting responsibility (48.0%) ▲poor communication (29.2%) ▲negative mindset (26.5%) ▲haphazard task handling (22.4%).
