Dongmyeong University Department of Nursing Volunteers Talent for Infectious Disease Prevention Education Visiting Local Children
Six students, including Jo Su-jin, a third-year nursing student at Dongmyung University, recently visited the Busan Gangseo-gu Cheonseong Regional Children's Center to conduct volunteer activities by donating their talents, providing infectious disease prevention education to 35 elementary, middle, and high school students.
On the 25th, they educated local children on personal hygiene rules such as wearing masks, washing hands, and practicing proper coughing etiquette to promote health.

This talent donation was carried out considering that respiratory diseases, which increase sharply during the transitional season with large temperature differences, threaten the health of children and adolescents.
Professor Lee Hyun-joo, who supervised the program, said, “It was meaningful that the students planned and carried out the Nursing EXPO program, allowing them to donate their talents in their major to promote children's health.”
