On the 18th at 11 a.m., Jin Gyo-hoon, Mayor of Gangseo-gu, Seoul, visited the village festival held at the playground of Banghwa 2 Complex Apartments to spend time communicating with residents.
Mayor Jin said, “Since taking office, I have been dedicating every minute and second solely to diligently managing district affairs to keep my promises to the residents,” and added, “I hope everyone has a joyful and happy time with their neighbors.”
The district held the ‘Banghwa 2 Complex Village Festival’ to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the opening of the Banghwa 2 Comprehensive Social Welfare Center. About 600 people attended the festival, including Jin Gyo-hoon, Mayor of Gangseo-gu, National Assembly member Jin Seong-jun, Kim Ji-yeon, Director of Banghwa 2 Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, and local residents.
The event proceeded in the order of ▲30th anniversary rice cake cutting ceremony ▲celebratory performances ▲time for communication among neighbors.
The celebratory performances featured the Eunhaengnamu Choir, composed of local senior citizens, and the Gangseo 50 Plus Center performance team, which boosted the excitement of the village festival.
