GDAI is an awards ceremony established in 2004 to promote digital advancement in infrastructure. To date, more than 4,700 projects across 12 categories have received awards.
This year, over 300 projects were submitted from 235 organizations across 51 countries, with only three companies per each of the 12 categories advancing to the finals and being invited to the awards ceremony held in Singapore.
Hyundai Engineering submitted the 'Civil Engineering Automated Design Program' in the Structural Engineering category and won after competing against India's L&T and Japan's Rise Structural Design. This is the first win in this category for a domestic company.
Hyundai Engineering explained that it was recognized for its significant differentiation in having independently developed the automated design program by utilizing the API (Application Programming Interface) provided by Bentley Systems.
