KISA to Host Global AI Security Conference on the 6th of Next Month

The Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) and the Ministry of Science and ICT announced on the 18th that they will hold the 'Global AI Security Conference (AISEC2023)' on November 6th at the Conrad Hotel in Seoul and online to promote the AI security industry and enhance the capabilities of promising AI security companies. The Ministry of Science and ICT and KISA are hosting the conference to share various AI use cases from global leading companies and provide domestic AI security companies with global networking opportunities.
Under the main theme of ‘The safer AI, The richer opportunity,’ the conference will open with keynote speeches on ‘The Era of Safety and Trust: Utilization and Responsibility of AI Technology (Google Cloud, Mark Johnson, Director/Office of CISO)’ and ‘Policy Agenda for Safe AI (International Bar Association Technology Law Committee, Chairperson Son Do-il, Attorney).’ Following this, trend presentations will share insights on the AI security market trends with topics such as ‘AI Security Market, Technology, and Industry Trends’ and ‘The Past, Present, and Future of AI Security Companies from an Investment Perspective (Outpost Capital, Ryan Wang, Chief Business Officer).’
To facilitate communication among attendees through various channels, side events such as buyer consultations, demo days, and company exhibitions will also be held. In particular, the ‘New Technology-Based Security Product Buyer Consultation’ will be organized in cooperation with the Win-Win Growth Committee to support market expansion for security companies based on new technologies such as AI. Anyone interested in AI can participate free of charge. However, some side events will be held privately.
