On the 16th (local time), Bang Shin-sil received 1.95 points in the weekly women's golf world rankings, jumping 18 spots from 79th last week. She claimed the top spot at the Dongbu Construction·Korea Land Trust Championship on the KLPGA Tour, which concluded last week at Iksan Country Club in Iksan, Jeonbuk. This is her second win of the season, five months after the E1 Charity Open in May, with a prize of 180 million won. It is the first time in four years since Lim Hee-jung won three times in 2019 that a rookie has won more than twice.

Lilia Vu (USA), Yin Ruoning (China), Ko Jin-young, Nelly Korda (USA), and C?line Boutier (France) maintained their positions from 1st to 5th. Angel Yin (USA), who won the Buick Shanghai on the LPGA Tour the previous day, jumped from 35th to 25th. South Korea's rankings include Kim Hyo-joo at 6th, Shin Ji-ae at 16th, Jeon In-ji at 27th, Yoo Hae-ran at 28th, Park Min-ji at 29th, and Choi Hye-jin at 30th.
