Icheon-si Conducts 'Semiconductor Technology Academy-Bridge' Training
Semiconductor Theory and Practical Training for High School Seniors
On the 17th, Icheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced that starting from the 16th, it began the 'Semiconductor Technology Academy-Bridge' education program for seven third-year high school students in the area.
This education is the second phase following the first phase conducted last summer vacation for students of Jeil High School.
The program is linked with the Semiconductor Department of Duwon College of Engineering in Anseong and consists of basic education on semiconductor theory and practical training using university laboratory equipment. In the first week, theoretical education on the eight major processes of semiconductor chip manufacturing is provided, and in the second week, detailed practical training for each process is conducted in a semiconductor cleanroom.
