Yoon Approves Personnel Hearing Request for KBS President Candidate Park Min
President Yoon Suk-yeol approved the personnel hearing request for Park Min, the nominee for KBS president, on the 17th.
The Office of the Presidential Spokesperson announced this through a notice to the press corps in the afternoon.
Earlier, the KBS board of directors announced on the 13th that "at a temporary board meeting, after a vote for and against, it was decided to recommend the appointment of Park Min, former editorial writer of Munhwa Ilbo, to the president."
The personnel hearing request for nominee Park is scheduled to be sent to the National Assembly in the afternoon. After the National Assembly's personnel hearing, President Yoon will appoint him.

Born in 1963, nominee Park graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Political Science. He joined Munhwa Ilbo as a reporter in 1991 and served as head of the social affairs department, political affairs department, editor-in-chief, and editorial writer. He also held positions such as secretary-general of the Gwankhun Club and president of the Legal Journalists Club.
