Sign Agreement on Women's Employment Retention Support and Creating Women-Friendly Workplaces
The Lotte Distribution Group is taking the lead in maintaining female employment and creating a female-friendly corporate culture by partnering with the Jongno Women's New Work Center.

On the 16th, the Lotte Distribution Group announced that it had signed a 'Female Employment Retention Business Agreement' with the Jongno Women's New Work Center, an institution designated by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family and the Ministry of Employment and Labor. The agreement ceremony was held at the Jongno Women's Human Resources Development Center in Jongno-gu, Seoul, attended by Kim Young-sil, Director of the Jongno Women's New Work Center, and Kim Hong-chul, Head of Human Resources Innovation at Lotte Distribution Group HQ. The Jongno New Work Center is an institution that provides comprehensive employment support services such as job counseling, training, and employment assistance for women seeking or returning to work.
Under this business agreement, the Lotte Distribution Group plans to explore and cooperate on various support measures for female employment retention, including preventing career interruptions and developing the careers of employed women, together with the Jongno New Work Center.
To create a corporate culture where female talent can work comfortably, a Female-Friendly Partner Company Agreement was also signed. The Lotte Distribution Group plans to continuously support key female talents by conducting female leader workshops, group coaching programs, and leadership programs. They will also train female leader coaches capable of operating these programs to promote the emergence of female leaders.
Through this agreement, the Lotte Distribution Group is expected to activate the recruitment of female talent and the development of female leaders, while the Jongno New Work Center will be able to strengthen support for the retention of employed women.
