As a 20-year-old female college student took charge of the farm on behalf of her parents who were involved in a traffic accident just before the Shine Muscat harvest, her story spread nationwide, leading to warm support from people across the country.
Recently, a story from a woman in her 20s, identified as A, who described herself as "the daughter of parents farming Shine Muscat grapes in Gwangju," was posted on an online community.
A explained that her parents have been hospitalized since a sudden traffic accident, and she, along with her younger sibling, uncle, and aunt, have been helping with the farming. She said, "I posted this because I was worried about missing the harvest season for the carefully cultivated Shine Muscat," and offered to sell the grapes at a price lower than the cost if buyers came directly.
She also added, "Although they may not be of the highest quality, the taste is guaranteed because they were grown with great care."
