Han Ki-jung, Chairman of the Fair Trade Commission, stated on the 16th, "We will strictly respond to collusive acts that deny the principles of competition."
At the National Assembly audit of the Fair Trade Commission held in Yeouido, Seoul, on the morning of the same day, the chairman said, "We will strive to enforce laws and improve systems to promote competition in the digital market."
He added, "We will actively identify and improve competition-restrictive regulations that cause burdens and inconveniences to the public." He also said, "We will focus on cracking down on technology misappropriation that threatens the survival of small and medium-sized venture companies," and "We will continue to promote voluntary regulation between platforms and tenant companies."

Furthermore, he stated, "We will operate the corporate group system rationally," and "We will strengthen monitoring of unfair internal transactions not only for large business groups but also for mid-sized groups with high market dominance, and pursue adjustments to the designation criteria for publicly disclosed business groups." He also said, "We will actively respond to deceptive sales tactics and covert advertisements, and focus on inspecting unfair practices in areas closely related to citizens' lives, such as subscription services and travel."
